2009:

Surfed! (sort of). Fulfilled a dream.

Biked the Pyrennes. Fulfilled another dream. Followed in the tracks of Mark Cavendish and Lance Armstrong (albeit not so fast!):
Col du Tourmelet, Col d'Aspin, Col de Peyresourde, Col d'Aubisque, Col d'Agnes ... to name a few.

2008:

Half Marathon (Worksop, England). PB - 1:39:17 (must do better).

10k Run (Bolsover, England) PB - 43:59 (must do better).

2007:

London Marathon. 3:48:06 (OMG - can still feel the pain!). Fullfilled a dream.

1991-1992:

Backpacked around the world. Fulfilled a dream (and created a new one).

1989-1990:

Durham South Tyne & Wear Captain Hockey Team.

1978-1990:

Durham South Tyne & Wear hockey team member.

Ferryhill Club Hockey team member ( 5 a-side indoor and 11 a-side outdoor).

Durham High School For Girls - Captain junior and senior hockey teams; member tennis team; head of sports department (assisting Head of Physical Education).

Sedgefield Comprehensive School - Captain junior hockey team; member cross-country running team.

Bishop Middleham Junior School - Captain netball team; member swim team.

Sedgefield '75' Swimmimg Club Member; 100m backstroke winner.
